Creative Classes Where Every Child Can Belong

Kati’s Place relies on compassionate, experienced program leaders to create meaningful opportunities for children of all abilities.

Our programs use art, music, movement, drama, and other creative experiences to help children develop friendships, strengthen communication skills, build confidence, and experience a greater sense of belonging.

Program leaders are responsible for creating and facilitating welcoming, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities for participating children.

Leaders may bring an existing program idea or work with the Kati’s Place team to develop a research-based curriculum that supports our mission.

Our classes are free and open to Northeast Ohio youth ages 6–11 of all abilities.

Space is limited, and advance registration is required for each program.

Art Class with Allie

Get ready to create, experiment, and think outside the box!

This dynamic six-week multimedia art class invites young artists to explore the exciting world of mixed media. Instead of using just one type of material, students will learn how to layer, combine, and experiment with a variety of tools and techniques to bring their biggest ideas to life.

Each week offers a new creative discovery. Students will explore different art materials, strengthen their artistic expression, and have opportunities to create in ways that feel fun, imaginative, and uniquely their own.

All art materials and oversized art T-shirts will be provided during class.
